Collage not College! 2025 New England UU Emerging Adult Retreat

February 15th to 16th | We're glad you're joining us for the 3rd annual Sanctuary campus retreat March 22nd-23rd! This weekend is a time to support each other in taking time to slow down and attend to the emotional and spiritual needs that busy schedules force us to set aside while gently testing our comfort zones with community. We'll play silly games, share about our spiritual journeys, collage, ask the big questions, talk about issues locally and in the world, sit together in silence or song, and open up in conversation together. We'll be sleeping on the floor of a church (we've raised a bit of money to buy sleeping pads to make things more comfortable) and of course there will be food!

Arrival: We will be staying in Pierce Hall at First Parish in Brookline (382 Walnut St). The church is accessible from the D branch of the Green Line, but please let us know about any accessibility needs or if you need assistance with transportation costs. The space will be ready to settle in at 11 am. Programming will start at 12 pm sharp.

Departure: Feel free to join us for the Sunday service at First Parish in Brookline from 11:00am to 12:00pm or leave beforehand.
This event is welcome to all, but anchored in the traditions of UU spirituality. Want to learn more or unsure if this event is for you? UUs come from a variety of religious and spiritual traditions or none at all, but tend to agree on values like love, community, democracy, and justice. If you're generally progressive and like to craft you'll probably right fit in! Learn more here.

There's a tradition of vibrant, weird, and wild UU retreats run for young people by young people, and we're trying to rebuild it! To this end we encourage you to join one of these low-responsibility team roles for this event. We will be breaking out into groups to work on them during the retreat, but they are not required.

We want to create an environment of fun, exploration, and loosened inhibitions. However, past UU events, especially in the 60s and 70s, have had insufficient boundaries and real harm. We're not doing that! We ask you to take these rules seriously.
-No drugs or alcohol (even if you're over 21)
-No sexual behavior or advances (if you fall in love, we ask you explore this on your own time)
-Stay at the church during the event. When you leave, except in extenuating circumstance you can't come back
-No violence, harrasment, or all the bad -phobia and -isms

Please select one option.
